 Last Sunday I won the M55s
Doubles Title at The Scottish Indoor Veterans Tennis Championships held in Glasgow, partnered by Phil Tovey (the Oxfordshire and Welsh captain). In the final versus the holders and No 1 seeds Alan Dalton and Wilf Jessop we recovered from a 26 14 defecit to win 10-8 in the deciding championship tie break. Phil Tovey tweaked his hamstring in the semi final and playing with this handicap narrowly lost the singles final versus Alan Dalton 8-10 in another deciding championship tie break. This made the doubles final victory even sweeter. Well done Phil!

What ever happened to Bjorn Borg? My good friend Swedish M50s player Goran Sundh recently played against the legend himself in a Seniors Veterans Match for his tennis club. How cool is that?
